[17.05] Provide UI collection output information for subworkflows. #5172

This fixes #5158 and should provide more correct extension based connection information as well.

Along with a backport of #4346 by @mvdbeek which fixed #3120.

Provide UI collection output information for subworkflows.

👍 thanks @jmchilton. The OSX test are disabled post 17.05, so I'll just ignore the failure there.
