This is an OS with a desktop environment that runs on RG35xx (H700 series).
It is customized based on StockOS, so there are many functions that have not been analyzed.
Therefore, we do not provide support, so please use it by trial and error.

Introduction

  • Use a 32GB or larger SD card
    • 128GB SDXC is recommended (faster read and write speeds will improve performance)
  • Occasional sound noise
  • Retroarch, PPSSPP, Drastic, pyxel, McAirpos are available
  • Screen brightness adjustment function is not implemented
  • Sleep function is not implemented

Installation procedure

  1. Download the three files "RG35xx_H700_DesktopOS_0.2.7z.001-003"
  2. Extract the files with 7z and write them to the TF card using BalnaEtcher etc.

  • When you start the default frontend and Retroarch, all keymaps are discarded and it will work as a normal game controller.

How to use HDMI

  1. Run "DefaultFrontend.sh" on the desktop
  2. When you connect the HDMI cable, the monitor will automatically switch
  3. Run "App center --> Back_to_Desktop" to close the front end and return to the desktop screen
  4. To return to the LCD screen, run "DefaultFrontend.sh" and then remove the HDMI cable, then run "Back_to_Desktop" to return to the desktop

FAQ

  • Q. A page error occurs in the browser
    • An error may occur if the time on the device is significantly different. Set the time from menu->preferences->Time and Date
  • Q. Where is the SD card mounted?
    • The first partition (FAT32) or the seventh partition (FAT32) on the SD1 side is mounted to "/mnt/mmc"
    • The first partition (FAT32) on the SD2 side is mounted to "/mnt/sdcard"

RG35xx(H700シリーズ)で動作するデスクトップ環境を備えたOSです。
StockOSをベースにカスタムしているため、解析ができていない機能が多数あります。
そのためサポートは致しませんので試行錯誤してお使いください。

はじめに

  • 32GB以上のSDカードを利用してください
    • 128GB SDXC を推奨 (読み込みと書き込み速度が早ければパフォーマンスが上がります)
  • 時折サウンドノイズが発生します
  • Retroarch、PPSSPP、Drastic、pyxel、McAirposが利用可能です
  • 画面の輝度調整機能は実装されていません
  • スリープ機能は実装されていません

導入手順

  1. 「RG35xx_H700_DesktopOS_0.2.7z.001〜003」の3つのファイルをダウンロードします
  2. 7zでファイルを解凍して、BalnaEtcherなどを使ってTFカードに書き込みます

  • デフォルトのフロントエンドおよびRetroarchを起動すると、すべてのキーマップが破棄され、通常のゲームコントローラとして動作します。

HDMIの利用方法

  1. デスクトップにある「DefaultFrontend.sh」を実行します
  2. HDMIケーブルを接続すると、モニターが自動的に切り替わります
  3. 「App center --> Back_to_Desktop」を実行すると、フロントエンドが閉じてデスクトップ画面に戻ります
  4. LCD画面に戻るには、「DefaultFrontend.sh」を実行してからHDMIケーブルを取り外し、「Back_to_Desktop」を実行してデスクトップに戻ります

FAQ

  • Q. ブラウザでページエラーが発生します
    • 本体の時刻が大きくずれているとエラーが発生する可能性があります
      menu->preferences->Time and Date　から時刻設定をしてください
  • Q. SDカードはどこにマウントされますか？
    • SD1側の第一パーティション(FAT32)もしくは第7パーティション(FAT32)「/mnt/mmc」にマウントされます
    • SD2側の第一パーティション(FAT32)は「/mnt/sdcard」にマウントされます
