Unlock Audio

Gamee-js automatically unlocks the AudioContext (& webkitAudioContext).

Implementation

When touchend event occures, framework calls resume method on each AudioContext instance that exists. This implies you shouldn't use resume and suspend methods of AudioContext to mute/unmute sound. Use AudioNode connect & disconnect instead.

Facebook platform more strict validation

  • gamee-js will not switch to FB instant games mode, when page referrer is facebook

gamee methods have data type validation on its arguments

For example:
"Invalid data type in method gamee.gameSave, argument data is expected to be a string, but found an object"

Minor update doesn't come up with any significant changes for the game developers.
But it comes up with better integration and less bugs.

Webpack building

  • We are using webpack 2.7 instead of grunt
  • Watch command build framework in realtime

Bower removed

  • Bullet library was removed from bower dependency, it is internal now
  • Having no other Bower dependencies, Bower is removed

Unit tests

  • Mocha tests, plugin for Webpack
  • Short tests for framework integrity
  • HMR (Hot module replacement) for realtime tests in browser, tests

Bug fixes

gamee.loadingprogress method behavior fixed

  • read wiki update

gamee.gameeInit callback has parameter error

  • first parameter in callback is error (null if there is no error)

non minified version removed

  • non minified version didnt work due to wrong packing with grunt
  • instead of it, there is source map that can be used for debugging

gamee.requestSocial fix

  • fixed method malfunction
