Admin tools v2

The Admin tools V2 update is now complete!

This has been the longest update I worked on at GSA. Progress began in January 2025, and 9 months later the entire suite received new and improved tools to help you manage your community.

Player, Character and Group pages

All pages related to players, characters and groups were updated.

The overview pages now come with more filter options and better control over how many rows you see, and what the table as a whole looks like.

The detail pages, where you can find information about specific players, characters & groups, were optimized as well. Most pages, like token transactions, votes, chat log, etc., now come with additional filters that help you find what you're looking for.

Activity page

The new Activity page gives a quick overview of what is going on with your game servers right now.

Bulk actions

You can now run actions for up to 50 players / characters / groups. This is available for all dashboards with an active add-on.
Available bulk actions:

• Ban / mute / kick
• Send delivery, tokens
• Manage roles, Access control

Access control

The old whitelist & Rule gate system was rebuilt from the ground up, and upgraded to support future expansions. Relevant systems like Application forms and Application processing are now baked into Access groups, making it much easier for RolePlay communities to control access.

Log processor

The system responsible for gathering game server chats & logs was rebuilt from the ground up, to make it future-proof and more stable. This introduced new events that you can hook into from tasks, like:

• Character died (triggered when you die, regardless of the reason)
• Character killed other player (triggers when you kill another player)

Player streaks

Rewarding playtime got better, and now works as one would expect: short interrupts and traveling between servers no longer impact the play streak.

System API

The System API now has full support for most Admin tools data. You can search players, characters and groups.
Additionally, moderation tools like kick, ban, add note, and more are available through the System API as well.
