I have been trying to use the proxyAT device up and running for my modem, a maxon unimax+ (https://www.maxon.com.au/products/UNIMAX_3G_ETHERNET_MA-2025.html). The 3G modem only has a network interface that uses AT over IP... which seems like it should work with the proxyAT, however the device itself is a readonly filesystem and I'm unable to install any user scripts on it. The /tmp directory is available, however the device is regularly and randomly rebooted and all files are discarded.
The AT over IP works by sending raw AT commands over the network to a dedicated port on the modem... Is there a small tweak that could be made to get this device to work with the proxyAT device? or another way?
