  1. Fix Kernel.trap setup for sigint by going from a lambda to a Proc

      - Switched out the block passed to Kernel.trap for SIGINT from a lambda
to proc. The block given to Kernel.trap gets a signal argument. Not
expecting this argument in a lambda caused a runtime error and prevented
        graceful exiting
      - Added a few test units using popen3 to make sure the SIGINT is
        recieved and properly handled
      - Add a test helper bin_str to return command string for use in popen*
      - Modify to sigint test to capture output from shindo (MRI only)
      - Lock ruby 1.8.7 to rake 10.5.x

Capture any type of exception in a 'raises' block
    committed Jun 18, 2013
  3. @rubiojr

Capture any type of exception in a 'raises' block

The current way of handling the exceptions in a raises block only
captures exceptions inheriting StandardError which is the default
    for rescue IIRC.

Not sure if this is intended behaviour though. This patch changes it
so that *all* the exceptions are rescued by the block.

    Code example exhibiting current behaviour:

        class MyException < Exception; end

        # raises block will not rescue MyException breaking tests
        #
        raises MyException, 'something happened' do
          raises MyException.new
        end
