The Chapter 15 example is a little out of date as it's compatible with Helm 2, which is going out of support sometime later this year (I believe). It should be updated for compatibility with Helm 3.
The community.kubernetes collection will soon have new helm modules added which should be compatible with Helm 3 and make working with Helm 3 charts much simpler.
