communication week 1
- User stories: discuss the user- stories that we have till now and select a collective and finale user story. DONE !
- Wireframes: create a wireframe(at least a sample) and discuss over it..(we will be using Figma); will be done by @adekimpianna
we have discussed in depth what the user story should be and categorized the stories in three major groups: must haves , should haves and could haves.
And also we have discussed that by tomorrow we should have at least a sample wireframe that would help us envision the project. All contributors had attended the meeting and we have scheduled a meeting for 16 DEC 2020 At 12:00 noon
Please add a specific topic you want to discuss about with the group....
- Wireframes:
- Database:
- Epics:
- Session and Cookies
On today's meeting we have discussed over the top topics that are mentioned above.
-
Wireframes: As a start point we believe that we have a concrete base wireframe. we have given back some feed back to UX/UI (yana) what needed to be added more and can be corrected. we have also came up with two new user-stories
- Every new post (card) should come up on top
- Every new post (card) should have a time stamp
- The website should remember my password..
-
Databases: we have discussed if we want to use NoSQL databases (mongoDB) or SQL databases (MySQL). we have decided to use MySQL finally.
-
Epics: This discussion point is a bit baffling to all of us.we will be discussing it tonight with Dirk. In the mean time UX/UI (Gelila) will try to continue with the analysis...
-
Session and Cookies: from user stand point we believed it will be a good idea to have a web-site that will remember the users password if the user didn't log out but left the site. On that note we will be implementing a "login with cookies 🍪 "
At this moment besides the Feed-back meeting on 16 Dec 2020, there is no planed meetings for the upcoming days
On this day we have discussed over the technical tools and ways that we are going to implement to start the project. Further, we have divided our user stories in to departments and we will be creating issues for each user story with department labels on them
On tomorrow's meeting we will be assigning selected issues a milestone that will help us to start our first sprint.
