MALAndroid README
-----------------

Hello, and thanks for reading this README for MALAndroid. This application is intended to be an Android application interface for MyAnimeList.net, a popular website used to keep track of the anime and manga its users are currently watching or reading.

CURRENT LIMITATIONS
-------------------

The application is very early in the development stages, and hence not much is working as planned at the moment. (Usually) working features include:
* Logging in
* Logging out
* Basic anime searching

The application is based on Android 1.6 (Donut), so should work on that platform and all those above it. This should be the majority of phones in common use, according to http://developer.android.com/resources/dashboard/platform-versions.html. Note that this may change in the future depending on newer features that may be implemented.

INSTALLATION
------------

Download the latest .apk file from the Downloads section, and transfer it to your phone in some way. (If your phone has a barcode scanner, scan the 2D barcode provided to automatically begin the install process.) You will need to ensure you have allowed non-Market applications to install on your phone through the 'Applications' section of the 'Settings' menu. Opening the .apk file on the phone should install it.
