Hi, I am using pelican 3.3.0 and encountered the problem

ERROR: Skipping extra/googlea4ca86ec98912b58.html: could not find information about 'title'

I added a html file to my static path with the following configuration

STATIC_PATHS = [
    'static',
    'extra',
]
EXTRA_PATH_METADATA = {
    'extra/googlea4ca86ec98912b58.html': {'path': 'googlea4ca86ec98912b58.html' }
}

It seems that pelican take the html file as an article or a page. However I just want it copied to my output path.

Any help is appreciated. And thanks in advance.

Hi, I have found the solution myself. Just like what the pelican configuration said, add the following code to pelican configuration, and it will cause pelican to ignore all the html input files.

READERS = {'html': None}
