decimalInfinite

This is the JSONiq implementation of the decimalInfinite Encoding Service. It's just 115 lines of code.

Usage

Go to http://decimalinfinite.28.io/encode.jq?d=100&d=3.1415926535&d=981237498716234502893745928734059827345098723409587230495872039485720938457029384570923845720349587

It returns:

{
  "100" : "10110000100",
  "3.1415926535" : "1010001101000110101001010000010100011010111110100",
  "981237498716234502893745928734059827345098723409587230495872039485720938457029384570923845720349587" : "1011111101001001001110010110001011101101111011011001010001001010110010000011100111010100101110010110100011111010101010010010101100100010001011100001011110110110011101010000101111111011010000100110000111011111010110100000110001010110101100100110100010110000000100011101001001001011101001101101100010100111011100111001001001100101101111011111101100110"
}

Change the d parameter at will.

That's it!

Testing validity

http://decimalinfinite.28.io/test-encode.jq?range=1000&precision=0.1

This tests the order preservation of the decimals -100, -99.9, -99.8..., 99.9, 100. You can adjust the range and precision at will.

If you find a combination of parameters that breaks the test, please send an e-mail to g@28.io for investigation.

You can’t perform that action at this time.
