[Ghostery 10] Chromium errors

This is a meta issue to track all problems with Manifest V3 upgrades.

Chromium ended support for Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and derivatives like Server 2008 R2, Home Server 2011, Server 2012, 2012 R2. The last official version for these platforms is M109.0.5414.128, which has known issues with running extensions based on Manifest V3.

On those systems, we recommend to run Firefox ESR.

Be sure to update your Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera, Yandex) to the latest version to increase the chance you can run Manifest V3 addons.

It's not exclusive to obsolete Windows versions. I'm experiencing the same issue fir ghostery 10 for 2 weeks on Fedora 40 with Slimjet 42.0.3.0
