I've implementing DNS-level blocking since I've posted this issue. I'm unsure if it's blocking the video now or if it's Ghostery's new Annoyance option, but this is no longer an issue for me when I use Ghostery. |

Description
Ghostery is set to block all tracker categories.
If you click on any article while browsing The New Yorker, you can scroll down far enough and see a video in the middle of the page.
Allow Audio and VideoorBlock Audio, the video plays without the user toggling. The pre-roll ad initiates. (The player respects Firefox's preference toBlock Audio and Videoas a global autoplay setting or site specific setting.)The proposed solution would be to add this video to Ghostery's Audio/Video Player category as this category isn't triggered at all when reading various articles. There also needs to be a intervention for when you allow the video to play — the ad always starts.
