I'm a systems-minded problem solver with a background in software engineering, business process analysis, and financial systems and controls.
After several years building and leading software solutions, I've been expanding my work at the intersection of technology, accounting systems, internal controls, process improvement, and change assurance. I'm especially interested in problems where complex business processes need to be understood, tested, documented, and made more reliable.
My experience spans software engineering and technical leadership, SDLC and change-control workflows, financial-system integrations, process and requirements analysis, transaction validation, data reporting, and workflow automation. I enjoy taking processes that depend heavily on institutional knowledge or manual review and turning them into clearer, repeatable, and auditable workflows.
I'm building Change Assurance Lab, a portfolio project exploring how organizations can create a repeatable assurance workflow for changes to financial and operational systems.
The project focuses on questions such as:
- How do we translate a requested system change into a clear expected state?
- How can expected behavior be represented when production systems are unavailable?
- How do we identify the transactions and business scenarios most affected by a change?
- How can validation be performed consistently across multiple stages of a workflow?
- How should exceptions, test results, and supporting evidence be captured?
- How should accepted change evidence be retained for auditability and change history?
- Which parts of assurance work can be automated without losing meaningful human review?
The goal is not to reproduce any one company's systems. Instead, Change Assurance Lab is intended to develop a portable pattern for change validation and evidence-based controls that can apply across organizations and platforms.
I also operate Tiny Site Lab, where I continue to build and experiment with small software projects.
Tiny Site Lab gives me a place to stay hands-on technically while exploring practical ways to apply software engineering, automation, data, and AI to business problems.
