I have this comment in git:
"vajon megmaradnak-e rendesen a magyar karakterek a commit kommentekben?
árvíztűrő tükörfúrógép ő"
When I'm trying to check in with checkintool, I get this in the dialog:
"vajon megmaradnak-e rendesen a magyar karakterek a commit kommentekben?
árvíztűrő tükörfúrógép ő"

After changing GitHeplers.cs line 211 from this:
startInfo.StandardOutputEncoding = Encoding.Default;
to this:
startInfo.StandardOutputEncoding = new UTF8Encoding(false);
it works fine for me.

I just started to use Git and Git-Tfs today, so I don't know what side effects can cause this.

I also tried with rcheckin and got the same results.

Hi, same problem with commit message in french with accents.

Today, I was decided to post an issue about my problem.

Seeing that issue, I have tested the modification and it works well.

Please make the modification to correct the problem (and thanks tamasarpad for the solution) .

Hi, I did a pull request based on your work.
I hope it will not "hurt" you!
It was to correct our problem quickly (and because you said that's your first day with git ;) )

@tamasarpad

Thanks Philippe!
