Ability to download as tar.gz

It would be nice if there was the ability to download repositories as gzipped tar files,
rather than only having zip as the option.

Implemented on master.  Will be part of the next release.  The demo server is live with
tar.gz downloads.  Since it was easy (after getting tar.gz working), I also added tar,
tar.bzip2 ,and tar.xz choices, although these choices are not displayed on the demo
server.
