I'm not sure how quickly I will revisit search since Lucene integration was a big part
of the last release.

Have you tried specifying any indexed branches?  It indexes commits and files.

I found your tweet.  I spent alot of time on Lucene search for the last release.  I
have no interest in implementing a regex search because the Lucene search fits my needs.
 If you would like to contribute a regex search I'd be happy to merge it.
