What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. enter a value for mailing list (and save)
2. blank out the field (and save)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected an empty mailing list field, but the previous value is retained.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
GO v1.4.1 (running on linux, but I don't think this matters)

Please provide any additional information below.
