User Story

As an ETC user, I'd like a user-friendly bounty process, since it will be different than ETH

Why Is this Needed

Our current plans for cross-chain implementation with ETC involves a different experience when opening a bounty. We need to plan this flow out, iron out the kinks, and make sure the flow makes sense.

Description

Opening a bounty:

  1. funder form
  2. hits "fund"
  3. fee payment happens or doesn't happen
  4. what happens if the fee payment is delayed? (this is the stage at which the funder is essentially "promising" to pay the fee.
  5. what notifications pop up when the fee payment is failed, delayed, or successful?
  6. what are the ux considerations for making this process as seamless as possible (keeping crypto-economics in mind)

Bounty payout:

  1. from the issue details page what do they see when they payout?
  2. what notifications pop up when the payout fails or is successful?

Notifications:

  1. should the bounty fee confirmation come alongside the bounty opened confirmation (either in-app notification or email?, since the email is already sent when bounty is live, maybe add on to the existing email the payment confirmation).
  2. notifications for when payment is delayed or failed?
  3. front-end design of notifications will depend on #5562
proper internal app notifications for fee payment and bounty payout
  4. what should be in an email, and what should be in-app?
  5. what does the copy look like?

@willsputra @frankchen07 will set up a conversation later this week to workshop this out
