Cannot generate the changelog for a repo moved from BitBucket to GitHub #699

I have moved a git repo from Bitbucket to GitHub with all its commit history. When I run github_changelog_generator on master branch of this repo, I get the following error and exit code 1:

Usage: github_changelog_generator [options]

Any idea what's going wrong?
