This PR updates the actions/checkout action from v5 to v6 across all workflows in the repository. The v6 release includes changes to how credentials are persisted (now stored in a separate file under $RUNNER_TEMP instead of directly in local git config) and requires Actions Runner v2.329.0+ for Docker container action scenarios.
