I am [private] of cPanel, L.L.C. (cPanel), and am writing on behalf of WHMCS Limited (WHMCS). WHMCS is the owner of the hosting automation software known as “WHMCS”. Further, WHMCS owns the exclusive copyright in the look and feel of the WHMCS product, including code, design, layout, colors and graphics (WHMCS Product).
On or about March 16, 2021, WHMCS determined that GitHub users are distributing unauthorized copies of the WHMCS Product, infringing WHMCS’s copyrights. Screenshots of the offending material is attached as Exhibit A.

WHMCS is vigilant in policing third party uses that could lead to consumer confusion as to the source or affiliation of particular products and services, or that could otherwise impair the function of the WHMCS Product. We have not authorized this use of our copyrighted materials and demand that the users immediately cease and desist distributing the Product.
I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted materials described above on the infringing web pages is not authorized by the copyright owner, or its agent, or the law. I have taken fair use into consideration.
I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner, or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
