Add more extensions to ignore *.pdf, and *.tex~, *.tex.backup which may be
produced from working with a rich text editor

I think adding pdf may be a little too bold. some people might not expect that gitignore is going to ignore the final product of their work...

@mohammadkotb

I have ignored it as it produces some conflicts when compiled the tex file.
Also the ps and dvi files are ignored, and they are considered tex output.

I do not understand your message? pdfs interfere with tex compilation?

I never never use ps and dvi so I missed them. Thanks for pointing that out. It does not make a lot of sense to me...

@mohammadkotb

I mean that if someone has compiled the tex file on his machine and pushed the pdf to the repo, it may lead to conflict will pulling it by another user, and that's what happened to me.
Also dvi and ps files are considered outputs to the tex, and they are ignored in the file.

Agreed that .pdf is probably too much. People can add that in if they want to. Can you update so I can merge? Thanks.
