I have installed hubot with success on window 7, however I am having trouble executing certain commands e.g. "you tube me".
Here is a typical session where I use "map me".
... > cd hubot
... > node .\node_modules\coffee-script\bin\coffee .\bin\hubot
hubot > hubot map me chicago
hubot > http://maps.google.com/maps/api/staticmap?markers...
hubot > http://maps.google.com/maps?q=chicago&hl=en&sll=37.0625...
As you can see all works perfectly with "hubot map me", which is great, however if I try "hubot youtube me stuff", I don't get a response. In fact, most of the scripts that use a http connection seem to fail, all bar, "hubot map me".
I have noticed something else that may help our diagnostics - it happens when I use the gtalk adapter and execute the same set of scripts from a gtalk chat client. Again "hubot map me" works fine but this time I see that a "connect ETIMEDOUT" is raised when I use "hubot you tube me".
Any idea why one fails and the other functions correctly? Perhaps I need to set some port number or adjust the windows host headers file?
