Call InnoSetup with WINE if it is not executable

    dscho authored
On Windows, all .exe files are executable automatically. So testing
whether ISCC.exe is executable should be a good indicator whether we're on
    Windows or not.

Launch Inno Setup from the directory containing the script

    sschuberth authored
This avoids passing the path to the script to ISCC, which is a little
awkward when using Wine under Linux.

Do not be quiet when redirecting compiler output to a file

    sschuberth authored
We want the full info in the file, but by default no output to the
console. Thus, do not grep install.out, the final message about where
the installer is available is enough.

Handle different md5sum output under Linux

    sschuberth authored
Under MSYS, the filename is prefixed by an asterisk, but under Linux,
    another space is used instead.

Generate MSYSGITROOT relative to the running script's directory

    sschuberth authored
It might be useful to have SCRIPTDIR. Also, add MSYSGITROOT at the
    remaining required places.

  8. @sschuberth

    Fix building the CWD variable

    sschuberth authored
CWD must not end in a slash because git cannot handle duplicate slashes in
    expressions like

    git --git-dir=$CWD/doc/git/html/.git

and CWD must not be empty, else tar will fail.

Some scripts require bash, e.g. for brace expansion

    sschuberth authored
On MSYS, sh defaults to bash, but e.g. on Ubuntu, sh defaults to dash
which does not support brace expansion and $(()), so we need to be
    explicit.

Installer: Use BindImageEx to potentially speed-up loading of DLLs

    cesarb authored sschuberth committed
We need to specify BIND_NO_BOUND_IMPORTS in order to avoid error 0xc0000005
"the application was unable to start correctly" when running "git.exe".
According to Daniel Kilma this is due to a problem between binaries created by
    GCC and the Windows loader.

The initial patch was provided by Cesar Eduardo Barros, additional fixes were
    done by Sebastian Schuberth.

This makes it possible again to compile version 0.9.8k of openssl.

textconv: Pass through non-MS-Word *.doc files

Some poeple may actually use the *.doc file extension for plain text files
