@ondrowan

I have a very common scenarion where I want to write following comment:

Todo:

  • something

It's quite impossible right now as writing : triggers smilie completion and hitting ESC won't hide it.

Tested in FF15 and Chrome 22.

It's an issue with At.js ichord/At.js#32

This makes writing example Python code on the wall/wiki/issues, etc, extremely annoying. I also use colons in the manner OP does.

Cancelling is one thing, but it would be nicer if this autocomplete popup could be disabled entirely. The ratio of me wanting to insert a colon to inserting an emoji is a million to one (probably quite literally).

@merlinthered

+1 it's really annoying. Having a separate area with a list of emojis you can choose from is probably much more user-friendly.
