Table of Contents

Description

The Exiled RP Overhaul (TERPO) is a mod to Conan Exiles that incorporates various changes to suit The Exiled RPPVP server. It was created by NorseKorean and is being maintained by Tirocupidus.

List of changes

Attributes

  • The bonus damage multiplier from Strength and Accuracy is set from 0.015 to 0.15 per point.
Note: This is in conjunction with weapon damage being lowered, which leads to less damage with a low attribute score, but more damage with a high score, compared to vanilla CE.
Both the multipliers and weapon damages are currently set to vanilla values. I'm looking at a way to modify weapon damage without touching the data table, but that might not be feasible to end with an acceptable result.
  • The bonus armor value from Agility is set from 1 to 5 per point.
  • The bonus health from Vitality is set from 12 to 15 per point.
  • The bonus stamina from Grit is set from 3 to 10 per point.
  • The bonus Encumbrance is set from 5 to 10 per point.

Crafting

  • Making shaped wood leaves a byproduct of bark, 1 bark per 4 shaped wood.
  • All potions and poisons require a flask of water.
  • Yellow Lotus Potion isn't craftable, but can still be spawned in by an admin.
  • Barrels require some iron to craft.
  • The chest wrap and loincloth are craftable.
  • The basic Darfari tent is craftable.
  • Making clothing doesn't require an armorer's bench.
  • Abysmal arrows and bolts are crafted 50 at a time, still requiring only 1 abysmal fang.
  • Arrows and bolts except for Abysmal are crafted 10 at a time, requiring 10 branches and 1 arrowhead ingredient.
  • Yellow dye is crafted with a yellow lotus blossom instead of ichor.
  • Crafting in the Furnace and Tannery now requires the recipe (i.e. works like cauldron).
  • Drawbridge and Greater Wheel of Pain now require Bricks instead of Hardened Bricks.
  • Explosive jar now requires a ceramic jug instead of earthenware jug.
  • Relic hunter clothing recipes that required leather now require thick leather.
  • Alcohol recipes require less ingredients.
  • Recipes/Feats that you can learn from game world objects/NPCs require you to have a related prerequisite feat. The Mountaineer will not teach you how to craft climbing gear, those have been placed into the Engineer profession.
  • Many refined resources can be crafted by T4/Legendary thralls.

Feats

Feats are completely redesigned into professions, each with three tiers.

You gain 1 point at every 5th level until level 40, and 2 at 45/50, for a total of 12 points. Tiers 1/2/3/4 cost 1/1/4/4, except for Native/Priest, which cost 1/3/4, and Provisioner, which costs 1/1/1.

Game Mechanics

  • All placeables (not buildings) refund themselves when dismantled.
  • ThrallExclusionRadius changed from 500 to 250, allowing placeable thralls to be placed closer together.
  • Steam IDs on name plates are hidden.
  • Climbing applies a Stamina Drain debuff, that drains stamina every second. The drain is worse with higher encumbrance and heavier armor, and is lessened by climbing gear.

Harvesting

  • Rock nodes have have their iron ore chance set from 1% to 10%.
  • No meat from spiders, and gossamer increased.

Items

Consumables

  • Ambrosia is just like Purified Flesh.

Equipment

  • Armor, weapons, and tools are not repairable, except for tools and weapons made of stone. This is to promote trade. (Looking at allowing the profession that makes an item to also be able to repair that item.)
This is temporarily disabled, set to vanilla repair. I'm working on a system that allows you to repair an item at the appropriate crafting station, if you have the knowledge to create that type of item. The system will allow me to not have to mod every repairable item in the data table.

Armor

Weapons

  • Weapons have their damage lowered. (See Attributes)
Temporarily disabled (set to vanilla values)

Tools

  • Pickaxe has 125% the durability of steel picks/hatchets, but its harvest rate is 90% of those.

Placeables

  • Barrels and small barrels are containers with capacities of 15 and 5.
  • Simple Palisade damage increased from 24 to 50. (Palisade Walls still do no damage)
  • Chairs, wooden boxes, barrels, and crafting stations are open for everyone. All other containers, doors, signs, and beds have the option to lock or unlock. (Thanks to DeathToMongo for making his Sharables tutorial video.)

Custom

  • Parchment can be written (typed) on to create Written Parchment, which can then be passed around as a message or custom lore item. It currently can be crafted only by the Parchmenter thrall, which is a T4/Legendary Tanner obtainable from the Black Hand or Relic Hunters. (Thanks to Foxcat for helping me with this item.)

Mod Compatibility

  • Recipes for The Exiled Enhanced Tableware and Pythagoras are included in TERPO feats.
  • The TERPO Feats table is completely remade, so any mods that mess with feats might not play well.
