Running the example query on lib directory of perl module SQL::Translator stops with the message:

Unable to create instance of 'lib/SQL/Translator/Parser/DB2/Grammar.pm'

Performing the following command shows no error message.

    perlanalyst --all Sub lib/SQL/Translator/Parser/DB2/Grammar.pm

Thanks for reporting! What version of SQL::Translator did you run it on? The problem might be that PPI is unable to parse the module.

Can you reproduce the error? This file has not seen changes for a file, so the version of SQL::Translator should not matter. When the error can't be verified, it think it is my installation. I'm running linux without a swap partition and some applications are not usable for that reason. But here it looks like different behavior when running over a directory or over a file.

Sorry, I can't reproduce the error. I see the error message in both cases.

The error message has to be there since it originates in a very simple constructor. That constructor is The One place where a source file is read.

However, it seems very strange to me that a simple print statement should break ... hm ...
