As mentioned by @ChrisBeaumont in #575, it would be nice to have some kind of preview of the values in the new component window. This could take the form of showing the first few values, or the min/max/mean/median or even a histogram.

The most robust might be the min/max/mean/median.

+1 to min/max/mean/median, similar to what Pandas.describe() does.
