According to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-properties/+bug/589640
and personal experience:
jeznet@kolec:$ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntu-on-rails/ppa
sudo: apt-add-repository: command not found
jeznet@kolec:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-on-rails/ppa
Executing: gpg --ignore-time-conflict --no-options --no-default-keyring --secret-keyring /etc/apt/secring.gpg --trustdb-name /etc/apt/trustdb.gpg --keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv 87530430F0F11D318C5C657CB6C6326781C0BE11

So please add info that apt-add-repository may not work and that add-apt-repository can be tried.

I think, information about old Ubuntu releases make docs non-clean. After 2 month next will be released.

But Karmic will have support to April 2011. Ok, thanks, I add notice to README.
