File extension mismatch in the "open file" dialogs could confuse users, maybe FASTA specific #1205

I actually got at least one feedback on my "JBrowse desktop demo" youtube video of someone opening fasta files with file extension .fna and being unable to do so which suggests maybe the extension handling should be more flexible

This is sort of a specific case for NCBI putting fasta in weird file extensions like .fna and .mfa files instead of .fa or .fasta.

It appears that you can manually select the file type from a drop down when the file type does not match but it would be nice to infer common use cases like .fna .mfa perhaps
