Compass Adaptive Grid Plugin

An adaptive grid Compass plugin heavily inspired by Matt Sanders' compass-960-plugin.

Installation

gem install compass-adaptive-grid-plugin

Putting it to Use

compass create -r adaptive-grid my_project --using adaptive-grid

Then you can edit your scss files as usual. A Compass reset is included with the base styles automatically.

Using With Existing Compass Projects

Add the following to the beginning of your config.rb:

require 'adaptive-grid'

And import the grid in your scss file:

@import 'adaptive-grid/grid';

Customizing Your Grid

The following are the variable defaults used by the plugin.

$adaptive-grid-gutter-width: 20px !default;
$adaptive-grid-max-width: 960px !default;
$adaptive-grid-columns: 12 !default;
$adaptive-grid-class-separator: "-" !default;
