Title: Go team PM / Open Source Architect

What're skillz you bring to the table: (what do you do that could help this group succeed?) I'm on the Go core team and a member of the project leadership. Outside of Go I have a lot of experience with open source organizations having done similar things for MongoDB, Drupal, Docker & Hugo. I'm also pretty friendly.

Go-related extra curriculars: (what groups and organizations are you already associated with?) I'm a lead of the DXWG. I'm an often organizer of GopherCon & GothamGo.

Your favorite thing about Go: Made programming fun again

The one thing you'd change about Go: I kinda hate the for := range syntax.

What's something you'd like to accomplish in this group: (feel free to look at the issues for ideas if you're stuck) Help more people take leadership roles in the project.

Title: Dev Relations (and all things marketingy)

What're skillz you bring to the table: I build developer communities and brands for a living (content, community, communications...get a lot of devs to love and use all the stuff, + find out why they don't like it). Dev relations (building evangelist teams), branding & messaging, content marketing, education-based growth strategies, partnership and biz dev, product dev strat/ PM'ing (I ❤️ GitHub Projects), event organizing, gopher plushie collecting (d'oh!), karaoke singing (jingle writing).

Go-related extra curriculars: GoBridge chapter lead, GoSF meetup organizer, close to WWG

Your favorite thing about Go: The Gophers (people first, plushies second)

The one thing you'd change about Go: Lack of organization and communication in the global community.

What's something you'd like to accomplish in this group: Better communication between organizers, better distribution of Go to the ecosystem (seeing Go not just at Go conferences) to drive adoption and careers available.

What're skillz you bring to the table: blogger, meetup organiser, public speaker, mentor, conference organiser.

Your favorite thing about Go:

I'm always delighted by the light touch and stillness of early programming languages. Not much text; a lot gets done. Old programs read like quiet conversations between a well-spoken research worker and a well-studied mechanical colleague, not as a debate with a compiler. Who'd have guessed sophistication bought such noise? Quote: -- Richard P. Gabriel

What's something you'd like to accomplish in this group: help Go programmers feel they are part of a global community.

What're skillz you bring to the table: (what do you do that could help this group succeed?) meetup organizer, speaker, writer, workshop instructor, mentor, open source contributor and anything else that is not listed but I may learn how to do it :)

Go-related extra curriculars: (what groups and organizations are you already associated with?) WWG organizer, GDG organizer, open source projects contributor, speaker, workshop instructor (Introduction to Go) and conference organizer (The Developers Conference Porto Alegre - Golang Track).

Your favorite thing about Go: top 1 - the community, but also the look and feel of the code, with it's C roots but "upgraded" to modern standards.

The one thing you'd change about Go: I would trade make and append and other magical functions for generics any time [sorry!]
