See https://build.golang.org/log/b4ba26bd8ca310b020793e8b8667aaf13fd65cc9.

Buildbots has started failing w/ CL 45113 and 45114, which contain a test case that claims a growing of slice from (len:0xc, cap:0x10) to (len:0x14, cap:0x20? maybe) in the append operation at https://github.com/golang/net/blob/master/internal/socket/socket.go#L200.

Looks like this issue already happened in Go 1.7, see #14638, and there are no other complaints.

Nope, this is an issue in internal/socket package. I forgot that the cmsghdr on Windows is defined as zero-sized stuff, stub ABI like type cmsghdr struct{}.
