What version of Go are you using (go version)?

go version go1.10 windows/amd64 vgo:2018-02-20.1

Does this issue reproduce with the latest release?

What operating system and processor architecture are you using (go env)?

set GOARCH=amd64
set GOBIN=
set GOCACHE=C:\Users\Roy\AppData\Local\go-build
set GOEXE=.exe
set GOHOSTARCH=amd64
set GOHOSTOS=windows
set GOOS=windows
set GOPATH=C:\Users\Roy\go
set GOROOT=C:\Users\Roy\AppData\Local\scoop\apps\go\1.10
set GOTOOLDIR=C:\Users\Roy\AppData\Local\scoop\apps\go\1.10\pkg\tool\windows_amd64
set GCCGO=gccgo
set CC=gcc
set CXX=g++
set CGO_CFLAGS=-g -O2
set CGO_FFLAGS=-g -O2
set CGO_LDFLAGS=-g -O2
set PKG_CONFIG=pkg-config
set GOGCCFLAGS=-m64 -mthreads -fmessage-length=0 -fdebug-prefix-map=C:\Users\Roy\AppData\Local\Temp\go-build851538174=/tmp/go-build -gno-record-gcc-switches

What did you do?

From the example at

package main // import "aka/vgo-hello"

import (

func main() {

vgo build succeeds, but then vgo verify fails.

What did you expect to see?

C:> vgo verify
all modules verified

What did you see instead? v0.0.0-20171214130843-f21a4dfb5e38: open C:\Users\Roy\go\src\v\\x\text@v0.0.0-20171214130843-f21a4dfb5e38\\x\text@v0.0.0-20171214130843-f21a4dfb5e38\.gitattributes: The system cannot find the path specified. v1.5.2: open C:\Users\Roy\go\src\v\\quote@v1.5.2\\quote@v1.5.2\LICENSE: The system cannot find the path specified. v1.99.99: open C:\Users\Roy\go\src\v\\sampler@v1.99.99\\sampler@v1.99.99\LICENSE: The system cannot find the path specified.

It appears that a subsection of the path is duplicated resulting in incorrect path finding and subsequent command failure.
