What version of Go are you using (go version)?

$ go version
go version go1.12.5 linux/amd64

Does this issue reproduce with the latest release?

Yes

What operating system and processor architecture are you using (go env)?

go env Output
$ go env
GOARCH="amd64"
GOOS="linux"

What did you do?

Clicked "Go To Definition" on "y" on the following code (in vscode:

switch y := x.(type) {
  default: fmt.Println()
}

What did you expect to see?

Go to definition (at the same location).

What did you see instead?

An error was returned: "no definition found for y"
