What version of Go are you using (go version)?

$ go version
1.12.8 openbsd/amd64

Does this issue reproduce with the latest release?

Yes

What operating system and processor architecture are you using (go env)?

OpenBSD/amd64

go build -o libr2pm.so -buildmode=c-shared ./lib
-buildmode=c-shared not supported on openbsd/amd64
gmake: *** [Makefile:20: libr2pm.so] Error 1
