$ mkdir /tmp/zz
$ cd /tmp/zz
$ echo module m >go.mod
$ go get
go get .: path /tmp/zz is not a package in module rooted at /tmp/zz

Should be more like "no package in current directory", and probably the substring "go get ." should not appear (that's not what I typed). So something like:

go get: no package in current directory
