What did you do?

go get -vu .

What did you expect to see?

The same output as go get -v -u .

What did you see instead?

$ go get -vu .
flag provided but not defined: -vu
usage: go get [-d] [-t] [-u] [-v] [-insecure] [build flags] [packages]
Run 'go help get' for details.

Go does not support POSIX style flags. You have to pass them separately.
