I think this is #37605, a platform bug on macOS 10.14. Is the -race builder running 10.14?

I believe that the -race builder is still running 10.14 (as of CL 201199), although it's unfortunate that the last failure was on a non-10.14 builder.

Perhaps this test be skipped on pre-10.15 builders? (Is there a way to easily match against that?)
