On page https://golang.org/doc/tutorial/getting-started
Change "Use the Go package discovery tool to find packages you can use in your own code. " to
"Use pkg.go.dev to find published packages you can use in your own code."

If that's not good enough I suggest to define what a "package discovery tool" is, before using this concept in a getting-started document.

This doesn't have to be a proposal. This can be decided by the documentation maintainers.
