When attempting to deploy mainterd we discovered that the keyserver used to download tini is no longer supported.

maintner/maintnerd: update API version and selector for Kubernetes

The v1beta version of the API is no longer supported by the version of
Kubernetes it's being deployed to. The v1 version of the API requires
a selector.
