What version of Go are you using (go version)?

$ go version
go version go1.18.3 windows/amd64

Does this issue reproduce with the latest release?

Yes, i guess it's always exist.

What operating system and processor architecture are you using (go env)?

go env Output
$ go env
set GO111MODULE=on
set GOARCH=amd64
set GOBIN=
set GOCACHE=C:\Users\Aoang\AppData\Local\go-build

What did you do?

Test the results of json.Decoder in different situations.

https://go.dev/play/p/sznsNWE0Y4f

What did you expect to see?

I don't know. But I'm guessing it shouldn't be like this.

What did you see instead?

package main

import (
	"encoding/json"
	"log"
	"strings"
)

func main() {
	s := Data{}
	log.Println(UseInterface(s))
}

type Data struct{}

func (d Data) I1() {}

type Itr interface{ I1() }

func UseInterface(c Itr) error {
	return json.NewDecoder(strings.NewReader("{}")).Decode(&c)
}

Maybe its should be like json: Unmarshal(non-pointer main.Itr).
