Comment 1:

i think this boils down to we don't support external linking on windows.
for example, this failed miserably on linux/amd64:
go test -ldflags "-linkmode internal" code.google.com/p/go-leveldb
although it succeeded with external linking.

we can't afford to support all linker features required by C++, so i will accept
this issue as a feature request for external linking support on windows.
