Currently both LookupHost and LookupAddr ignores local entries when CGO lookup functions
succeed. Unfortunately it seems that getaddrinfo on latest Darwin (OS X Mavericks) never
returns an entry of "localhost, [::1]" for some reasons. Should we make the
resolver functions more CGO-buildin hybrid?

Comment 1:

Nope, they implemented more fancy getaddrinfo which is aware of routing information.
When there is no global IPv6 reachability, the function returns only IPv4-related
records, hm.

Status changed to Retracted.
