Hi guys,

there is a HUGE inconvenience in everyday usage of Goldendict on Mac platform.

Expected behaviour (acting like windows version of Goldendict):

  1. click with the left mouse button on Goldendict's tray icon
  2. the main application window opens and receives the focus for word entry

What we have got now (tested on 1.5.0-RC2-21-gdb6f369 and all previous versions): the left mouse button click opens the popup menu. The focus is on the popup menu instead of the application's main window.

The problem is you can't just click on tray icon and begin entering the word as it is in the windows version of Goldendict. Instead of it you have to do several addition actions every time when using the app.

Same here on Arch Linux if you a shortcut to evoke goldendict. The focus in on the menu option "File" instead of input box.

A workaround is to hide the menu.

You can’t perform that action at this time.
