User settings: some toggle inputs become visually unchecked after saving

Describe the bug
When I save my user settings, some/most toggle inputs get unchecked regardless of state.

To Reproduce

1. Go to user settings
2. Press save
3. Observe toggle inputs becoming unchecked
4. Refresh page to see state reflected accurately

Expected behavior
The inputs should reflect the internal state of the settings upon saving to communicate the settings were actually applied.

I'm having the same issue. Other than that, works like a champ.
