Welcome to the vulkan-basic-samples wiki! This repo was originally the Android port of LunarG Vulkan Sample in August 2016. Along the way till April 2017, most of the Android port, if not all, has been updated into upstream repo, with the exception of the project file structure that is tuned for Android Studio usage.

From here (April 2017) and on, the plan is:

  • Keep this repo as backward compatibility purpose so the existing doc links are still valid
  • The content in the repo will be periodically updated from upstream repo
  • All Android related bug fixes / feature additions will go directly into upstream repo, and populated to this repo.
