The leaderboard emphasizes competition, but Gittip is about cooperation. Come up with something better.

I have some ideas for this ...

We're talking about replacing or de-emphasizing it (#64), but in the
meantime I'm hearing people confused about whether this is tippers or
tippees. Hopefully this clears that up (it's a list of tippees).

What if we had brackets?

"These 100 people receive over $100 a week."
"These 350 people receive between $10 and $100 a week."
"These 2,300 people receive between $1 and $10 a week."
"These 10,700 people receive less than $1 a week."

Going to close this ticket. @alex mentioned in twitter (haven't dug for it) that it's not the leaderboard per se but the way we talk about it that's the problem. I think we're talking about it differently now, and having givers on there (#82) shifts the balance as well.

Dug for it: https://twitter.com/alex_gaynor/status/213803652312334336:

FWIW I don't mind the existence of the leaderboard, just the way we talk about it.

Dug for the original comment: https://twitter.com/alex_gaynor/status/213693874747617280:

Please don't make this a competition, it seems incredibly antithetical to the stated purpose of the site.
