[gateway] manage errors on target endpoint #1653

Expected Behavior

When the user set a wrong value in the endpoint target (let say 999.888.777.666) we have to properly throw an exception

Current Behavior

Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException: no null host accepted

do not deploy an endpoint if we know that this could cause an error
